Watches/warnings in effect for southern Manitoba...
Severe Thunderstorm Warning for:
R.M. Of Ste. Rose including Ste. Rose Du Lac and Laurier
R.M. Of McCreary including McCreary and norgate.
At 6:50 PM CDT weather radar indicates a severe thunderstorm
north of McCreary moving to the south at approximately 40 km/h.
The main threats from this storm will be large hail and heavy
rain.
The severe thunderstorm near Austin has since weakened so the
warning has ended for the regions noted above. However, a
Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for the area this
evening.
This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or
occurring in these regions. Remember that some severe
thunderstorms produce tornadoes. Listen for updated warnings.

==Discussion==
a low pressure system over central Manitoba is producing several
thunderstorms this evening over ste. Rose region. Some of which have
become severe. The storms will continue to track further to the
southeast later this evening. These storms have the potential to
produce large hail and heavy rainfall. Funnel clouds are also likely
with these storms.
