a deepening low pressure system just southeast of Halifax will track
northward to lie over the Gulf of St Lawrence by this afternoon.
The low will continue to slowly track northward tonight and Sunday to
lie over northern Labrador by Sunday night. Snow associated with
this system will begin late in the morning over southeastern Labrador
and spread northward throughout the day. Snowfall accumulations of
20 to 30 centimetres are expected in central Labrador and along the
coast from Groswater Bay to Nain. High winds will combine with the
snow to give blowing snow reducing visibility to near zero at times.
