Watches/warnings in effect for New Brunswick...

Winter Storm Warning for:
=new= Bathurst and Chaleur Region
=new= Campbellton and Eastern Half of Restigouche County
=new= mount Carleton - renous Highway
      Acadian Peninsula
      Fundy National Park
      Kent County
      Kouchibouguac National Park
      Miramichi and Area
      Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick.

      Snowfall of 15 to 25 centimetres along with strong northerly
      winds giving blowing snow to these areas today.

      This is a warning that dangerous winter weather conditions are
      expected in these regions.  Monitor weather conditions..listen
      for updated statements.

==Discussion==
a low pressure system that intensified into a major early season
snowstorm will track across eastern Nova Scotia and into the Gulf of
St Lawrence this morning.  The low will then move to the northern
Gulf of St Lawrence later today.

Fresh snowfall and strong winds will cause low visibilities in
blowing snow especially in exposed locations.

The low is tracking further west than earlier forecast therefore
winter storm warnings have been expanded to include several more
regions.
