MANILA - Weather bureau PAGASA on Thursday said typhoon Pepeng (international codename Parma) is forecast to bring more rains and very strong winds in Northern Luzon including Metro Manila once it makes landfall Saturday afternoon. It is said to be much stronger than typhoon ketsana (ondoy) which brought a lot of rains and caused heavy floodings. Some areas in Manila is still submerged to water especially those areas they consider as catch basin. Parma is expected to hit Luzon around 6 pm Friday to 6 am saturday. Category 4 and marked as super typhoon.

typhoon signal No. 1 here in Cebu and typhoon signal No. 2 in Leyte and nearby provinces.At 2:00 a.m., today, Tropical Storm FERIA was located based on satellite and surface data at 80 kms East of Romblon (12.6°N 123.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move northwest at 19 kph.

Today here in Cebu is 30.9 degrees Centigrade. It is cloudy here. I see dark clouds which is an indication that it may rain soon.
