The majority of the activity is currently confined along and south of Interstate 40 in Arkansas and southwest Tennessee. Brief heavy downpours and deadly cloud to ground lightning are evident within these storms. Rainfall amounts of up to one inch per hour are likely with isolated higher amounts possible.
