Scattered showers will continue to move into and southeast through northeast Arkansas and the Missouri bootheel. Showers and storms will be moving through northwest Tennessee moving southeast slowly. Through 130 PM...expect rainfall of less than a tenth of an inch over Arkansas and the bootheel and from a tenth to a quarter inch or more for northwest Tennessee. The stronger thunderstorms will contain frequent lightning and heavy rains possibly around an inch. These storms will be moving southeast from Dyersburg and Kenton.

Statement as of 8:45 am CDT on July 11, 2009 Several NOAA Weather Radio transmitters served by the National Weather Service in Memphis Tennessee were off the air due to communications equipment issues. All stations are now broadcasting with full audio output as of 830 am this Saturday morning. The following NOAA Weather Radio stations were affected by the outage... Kih-53 in Booneville Mississippi on 162.40 mhz wwh-30 in Dyersburg Tennessee on 162.50 mhz wng-643 in Marvell Arkansas on 162.525 mhz kha-46 in Vale Tennessee on 162.45 mhz kih-52 in Oxford Mississippi on 162.55 mhz The National Weather Service apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused.
