... Record warm low temperature tied at Salina Municipal Airport yesterday... The low temperature at Salina Municipal Airport yesterday... November 8th... was 53 degrees. This tied the old record warm low temperature for the day set back in 1983.

... On this date in weather history... In 1913... a famous storm slammed the Great Lakes. Eight large ore carriers sank on Lake Huron... killing 200 people. In 1988... severe thunderstorms developed out ahead of a strong cold front from eastern Oklahoma and into central Indiana. Hail more than 2 inches in diameter was reported around Tulsa.
