* Flash Flood Warning for... north central Pima County in south central Arizona...

* at 513 PM MST... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated an area of strong thunderstorms generating extremely heavy rainfall near Anegam and Santa Rosa in north central portions of the Tohono Oodham Nation. Expect rainfall amounts in excess of 2 inches with storm movement very limited.

* at 440 PM MST strong thunderstorms were generating locally heavy rainfall in areas across eastern Pima County as well as the Tohono Oodham Nation. Rainfall amounts in excess of 1 inch will cause local flooding problems with the heaviest storms at 440 PM near the Tucson Mountains west of Tucson as well as portions of The Rincon foothills. Other strong storms were noted near Sells... Kitt Peak and Santa Rosa. Storms were showing little movement this afternoon.
