At 902 am MST... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate a severe thunderstorm capable of producing nickel size
hail... and destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. This storm was
located near Canyon Day and White River... or about 35 miles south of
Show Low... moving northeast at 52 mph.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM MST
Saturday afternoon for northeastern Arizona.

from 50 to 65 mph. Locally higher gusts are possible just east of
Flagstaff... from the San Francisco peaks to Doney Park.

Localized portions of the Little Colorado River valley... as well
as portions of I-40 from Two Guns to the New Mexico border...
could see even higher winds. Gusts as high as 75 mph will be
possible in this area today. These winds will cause areas of blowing
dust and sand... as well as the potential for some structural
damage.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph... or gusts
of 58 mph or more... are expected and can lead to property damage.
