A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from late tonight through
Monday evening.
A storm is expected to develop in the northern Bering Sea Sunday
night and move into Norton Sound on Monday. This could bring heavy
snow... strong winds and local blizzard conditions to the southern
Seward Peninsula coast... including Nome... from late Sunday night
through late Monday.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Watch means that there is a potential for
hazardous winter weather that may impact travel or outdoor
activity.
