Marine weather discussion for Gulf of Mexico... Caribbean Sea and southwest north Atlc S of 31n W of 55w.

Gulf of Mexico... ts Marco expected to move inland near 20.3 97.9w at 00z tonight with all associated conditions diminishing by midnight. A cold front expected to slip off the TX coast this afternoon with initial wind shift to NW possibly associated with a prefrontal trough. Winds shift NW to N 20 kt...briefly 25 kt...around midnight tonight as front reaches from MS Delta to NW Bay of Campeche. Front begins to lose its push Wed night from FL Big Bend to E Bay of Campeche and then gradually washes out Thu and Fri over the se waters. By then winds becoming sly over the NW portion and change little through early sun. Gradient tightens some late sun increasing ENE winds to 15 kt across entire Gulf.

SW N Atlc... an inverted trough intends from 30n60w to 21n66w and a fast moving cold front is about to merge with trough near 30n60w. This front extends W along 27n75w to 28n81w. A secondary surge is noted N of this boundary and will drive nly winds to 20 to 25 kt N of the front tonight raising seas to 10 ft in N swell mainly S of Bermuda by late tonight. Se return flow sets up E of N FL Thu in advance of a weak cold front expected to slip off GA coast around midnight Thu night...and stall from 31n78w to 28n81w Fri night. Ridge E of the front will support fresh E winds through remainder of period.

Caribbean and tropical N Atlc... tropical wave S of 20n along 77w moving W 12 kt past 24 hours. Another wave located S of 19n along 67w moving W at 13 kt. Tropical wave positions mentioned in text and denoted on graphics but only expect a 10-15 kt wind shift with passages of waves....however waves are accompanied by convection. Cold front will move into N portion of tropical Atlc zone Tue and slowly weaken through Fri.
