Synopsis
A ridge of high pressure over the north central Gulf will be displaced to the south as a weak cold front moves into the southern United States Sunday evening. Winds and seas will build slightly with an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms late Sunday through midweek as the front approaches. A continued chance for showers and thunderstorms the first part of the week as the front lingers just north of the coastal waters with moderate west to southwest winds.
